Oh People!
RCY and a few others from the adult team are currently a block away from the college at a coffee shop killing time before we leave on our journey home. Last night, Rizz had the youth team go to the top of Primrose Hill, which is the spot with the best view of the city. He challenged us to think on how the Lord had moved these past ten days and how He is still moving in this place. After reflecting we can see that the Lord has done many, many things here:
He encouraged other believers in London (please pray for these: our sister Grace from the tube, HTB Church, and our Korean brother traveling around the world). He used Andrew and Erik to minister and preach the Gospel to two muslim boys staying in our building (Andrew gave them his Bible- pray it would penetrate their hearts like the Lord does it). He fed the homeless and gave hope to the hopeless. And finally (on the list, that is) He birthed a new church.
He taught us humility here. He taught us how to worship. He taught us how to love. He taught us how to pray.
The Lord blessed us with sweet times of fellowship here, as well. Team 1 fit 10 people into a phone booth while team 2 fit 11 people into one. We ate 10 different kinds of food: Italian, Portuguese, Indian, Vietnamese, American, Thai, British, Japanese, Chinese, and French. And best of all, none of us got hurt.
Our God is a good God. He blessed not only us, but the city of London, and Mark, Lizzie, and the Simas family.
See you all soon,
RCY.
